Unfortunately too many people never knew about all the government tax credits available to them both state ( I live in NY), and Federal. Now those programs are on the chopping block. I took full advantage and used them for Solar , Geothermal and an electric car.

Agreed. I used those tax credits for solar panels and a heat pump hot water heater!
